Why Keen Eye Finds Exists
I've spent years working alongside some of the best fly fishing minds in the industry - a place where gear isn't just equipment, it's part of who you are on the water. And what I kept seeing, over and over, was the same problem: anglers with incredible gear collecting dust, and newer anglers who couldn't afford entry into this world.
The used market is a mess. Facebook Marketplace has no idea what a Sage rod is worth. eBay doesn't know what a 7-weight Spey setup should sell for. Reddit threads disappear. And the person selling doesn't know if they're leaving money on the table, and the buyer doesn't know if they're getting ripped off.
Keen Eye Finds is my answer to that. A marketplace built by someone who lives this sport - with real price history, real community trust, and a genuine desire to make fly fishing more accessible for everyone. You shouldn't need to spend $1,200 on a first rod to fall in love with this.
The name? "Keen Eye" is a nod to my middle name, Keni. It's personal - and everything we're building here is.
